During her residence, Midori Takada played a basic melodic line on the marimba, from which nine other parts played on different instruments were recorded, then put together during mixing. These nine parts were inspired by the Nhemamusasa piece. On this notation, Takada marked the six main segments of her composition, identified by the letters A to F. They are freely distributed over the nine parts and can be heard alone or superimposed, a composition technique specific to the artist. M. Leclair/MEG
