When Deskaheh, Levi General, travelled to Geneva, he carried with him two wampum belts: the Two Row Wampum Belt and a Friendship Belt.
In 1923, the Indian Agent at Six Nations of the Grand River, recommended European authorities arrest Deskaheh and confiscate the wampum belts.
