To celebrate the centenary of the venue of Deskaheh in Geneva, the Tree of Peace was given by the Hodinohsho:ni and planted in the Bastions Park. This large white pine symbolizes the alliance between the Hodinohsho:ni and Geneva, as well as the choice of peace, purification and healing.
At the ceremony, Clayton Logan, Seneca elder, asked the City of Geneva and the residents of Geneva to take good care of it, look after it and replace it if damaged, in order for peace to accompany us and the tree flower forever. S. Petrella
